Conducted by Manchester Register Office at the Town Hall and licensed venues city-wide.
We carry out the statutory ceremony, that’s the legal act of marriage or civil partnership. It’s delivered by a registrar, authorised by the General Register Office, and is entered into the legal record on the day.
It’s not the full wedding package. We don’t do the catering or the styling. What we do is the important bit; the one part of the day that’s got to be right, in a city that’s the best city, with 42 licensed places for you to choose from.
Every civil ceremony in Manchester is conducted by one of our registrars. What changes is where you hold it, and how much of it you book from us.

Marry in the Town Hall's own rooms, where the registrar service is part of the booking. This means one date, one payment, one venue and nothing to coordinate between suppliers.
There are 42 venues across the City, licensed to hold civil ceremonies, from the Northern Quarter to Didsbury. Find yours, then add a registrar to officiate.
